Another Satisfied Residential Customer

Denton Glass Company replaced the single pane windows in my 1970s home with double pane, energy efficient windows.  The new windows look great, are cooler to the touch, and I am receiving numerous comments from my neighbors about how they have transformed the look of my house.  When replacing all the windows in your home, you want a company you can trust.  Thank you Denton Glass Company for all your hard work, perseverance, and attention to detail.

Sincerely,
Jackie

rebates on your heating & cooling bill

It is time to upgrade your windows to energy saving windows and SAVE!

energyeffwindow

Finding ways to reduce your monthly electrical bill should start by addressing the energy efficiency of your home, the better you insulate your house, the more money you will save. While adding more insulation to the walls and attic is very important, you can augment your savings even further by using energy efficient windows. By replacing your normal residential windows with energy efficient windows, you can save even more money on your heating and cooling bills.

Your residential windows are a prime source of letting in heat in the summer and cold in the winter which taxes your heating and cooling units, especially if you use a central air conditioner to regulate the temperature in your home. Normal windows are often just a single sheet of glass that transfers the outside temperature into your home, causing your own electrically based air conditioners to work harder and longer which in turn uses more electricity.

The most common type of energy efficient windows consists of two panes of glass with an inert gas between them, which is normal argon. This double paned system prevents the outside temperature from being transferred into your home. While the outside temperature will affect the outer pane of glass, the inert gas and inner pane are not affected to the same degree. This means your central air conditioner works less often and you save money on your electrical bill. Anderson Windows are another type of energy efficient windows you can use for your home as well.
You’ll want to look for energy efficient windows that have a “Low-E” coating. Low-E is a high tech, reflective coating that reflects the damaging UV or ultra-violet rays away from your windows. UV rays will damage and fade your curtains, rugs, furniture and especially your wooden floors. By adding UV protection you keep the light coming in, but you turn away the damaging UV rays.
Plus, the extra coating on the outside of the windows significantly reduces water droplets from forming and creating dirty streaks on your windows. This means that they are virtually “self cleaning” from most of what the elements can throw at them.

Also, if you own a business that uses commercial windows, you can help save your business money by replacing their windows with the type that reduces electrical bills. In today’s tough economic times, every dollar counts and saving your business money means it can be used for other, more pressing matters.

Also, by replacing your residential windows or commercial windows for your business with energy efficient windows, you could also qualify for tax credits and even rebates from your local electrical company. Most energy companies across the US offer some form of rebate or credit on your bill if you install the recommended type of energy efficient windows. For example, in Denton you could receive a rebate of up to 30% off if your invoice is up to $500 for the purchasing and installation of energy efficient windows.

Replacing your
residential windows or commercial windows with energy efficient windows is a great way to save money, reduce maintenance costs and improve the overall value of your home.

Mother of God Church

It has been several months now since you installed our beautifully-restored stained glass windows at Mother of God Parish. With each passing day the windows and your craftsmanship provide more joy.
We can really never express fully our gratitude to you for your skill and devotion in restoring our windows. We consider them treasures. As you are deeply aware, the windows originated at our Sister Parish, Sacred Heart, in Chetopa, Kansas. When the church had to be closed because the building was declared unsafe for occupancy, the windows became a major issue. With your kindness and professional eye, you gave hope to a large group of parishioners who were grieving the loss of their Parish Church with all its memories. You assured them that you would do everything you could to save their beloved stained glass and make them work at Mother of God Church.
You not only restored and customized their windows to fit in another building; you gave them back a beautiful element of their lost building. And you gave them back a piece of their history. As their pastor, I watched the former parishioners of Sacred Heart, now adopted into the Mother of God Parish family, somehow let go of the pain of losing their church.
Not only did you return to them a great gift, you made the windows fit so beautifully that they look as though they have always been at Mother of God. Everyone who visits is astounded that the beautiful windows are "new" to our church. We are so appreciative to you for all your kindness to our parish. And we are so thankful to God for the artistic and technical skill He gave you. Your hard work and your devotion to your craft has returned many people to a state of comfort in our parish. And we are eternally grateful to
you.
God Bless you special!
Sincerely,
Father Larry J. Parker

First Christian Church

Several years ago our little church in Paradise, TX, became the target of vandals and their BB guns.  That, along with breaks and cracks from other sources, left us with about fifteen panels of stained glass that had to be restored.  When Terry Sewell, the owner of Denton Glass Company, came out in January 2011 to give us a bid, he explained the whole procedure from start to finish.
He found a company in West Virginia that still makes the same glass and purchased a sample piece for us to evaluate.  The style, texture, and color are as close of a match as one can expect for stained glass that is over fifty years old.
The new glass arrived in less than a month from the initial estimate.  Terry and his team were on site and on time as promised for the installation.  They were in and out in just one day.  Everyone who sees the new glass remarks at how well it matches the old glass and how “clean” the installation looks.  The glazing is uniform and complete and should hold up to the weather.  We will enjoy these windows for years to come.
Everything about this company has been professional from the initial estimate to the final clean-up.  Terry has done several other stained glass restorations and really seems to enjoy his work.  Terry and his team were always courteous and willing to discuss any questions we might have.  I would highly recommend Denton Glass Company for any future glass work (stained or otherwise) we or anyone else might need.
