Mother of God Church

It has been several months now since you installed our beautifully-restored stained glass windows at Mother of God Parish. With each passing day the windows and your craftsmanship provide more joy.
We can really never express fully our gratitude to you for your skill and devotion in restoring our windows. We consider them treasures. As you are deeply aware, the windows originated at our Sister Parish, Sacred Heart, in Chetopa, Kansas. When the church had to be closed because the building was declared unsafe for occupancy, the windows became a major issue. With your kindness and professional eye, you gave hope to a large group of parishioners who were grieving the loss of their Parish Church with all its memories. You assured them that you would do everything you could to save their beloved stained glass and make them work at Mother of God Church.
You not only restored and customized their windows to fit in another building; you gave them back a beautiful element of their lost building. And you gave them back a piece of their history. As their pastor, I watched the former parishioners of Sacred Heart, now adopted into the Mother of God Parish family, somehow let go of the pain of losing their church.
Not only did you return to them a great gift, you made the windows fit so beautifully that they look as though they have always been at Mother of God. Everyone who visits is astounded that the beautiful windows are "new" to our church. We are so appreciative to you for all your kindness to our parish. And we are so thankful to God for the artistic and technical skill He gave you. Your hard work and your devotion to your craft has returned many people to a state of comfort in our parish. And we are eternally grateful to you.

Several years ago our little church in Paradise, TX, became the target of vandals and their BB guns.  That, along with breaks and cracks from other sources, left us with about fifteen panels of stained glass that had to be restored.  When Terry Sewell, the owner of Denton Glass Company, came out in January 2011 to give us a bid, he explained the whole procedure from start to finish.
He found a company in West Virginia that still makes the same glass and purchased a sample piece for us to evaluate.  The style, texture, and color are as close of a match as one can expect for stained glass that is over fifty years old.
The new glass arrived in less than a month from the initial estimate.  Terry and his team were on site and on time as promised for the installation.  They were in and out in just one day.  Everyone who sees the new glass remarks at how well it matches the old glass and how “clean” the installation looks.  The glazing is uniform and complete and should hold up to the weather.  We will enjoy these windows for years to come.
Everything about this company has been professional from the initial estimate to the final clean-up.  Terry has done several other stained glass restorations and really seems to enjoy his work.  Terry and his team were always courteous and willing to discuss any questions we might have.  I would highly recommend Denton Glass Company for any future glass work (stained or otherwise) we or anyone else might need.

I would recommend Denton Glass Company for any of your glass needs.  I remodeled my bathroom in December 2010.  After the tile work was completed, I received estimates and information about the glass work.
Denton Glass Company was not the least or most expensive company.  They were the most informative and professional.  I was very pleased with the results and workmanship.  I would use them again and highly recommend them to anyone in need of that type of work.

Denton Glass is simply a great company to deal with. We first hired them to remove and replace a dormer window so we could install a decorative shutter. They were flexible to the extreme and made two trips out to our house when the shutter company brought the wrong size shutter. They have also designed custom windows for our home and were wonderful in helping us with repairs after a recent hail storm. There is a reason that Terry and his staff have a high BBB rating – they are friendly, professional and reliable!
